I was wondering if anyone had been to more than one of the Korean embassies in the USA to get their work visa stamped.
Anyone? |

The one closest to where you live. I was in New York, so it was a breeze. Hope you don't have to drive for 12 hours to get to a consulate. They are all the same for the most part; just make sure you have all of your paperwork together. |

Yeah, i don't think you are allowed to go to any consulate other than the one assigned to your state.. Atlanta's was closer (5 hour drive) but i had to go to Houston (10 hour drive) because my state was under Houston's juristiction. Blows. |

I don't think it matters and here's why...it's all done by computers....you show up, give them your passport, documents, etc. and the embassy folks take it from that point.
Does one particular embassy/consulate issue visas more faster/better over others? I don't think so. As long as your paperwork is correct and the info from immigration is correct/updated..you should be good to go.
Some go to The Philippines for their visa, some go to Guam or Hawaii.
I suppose it all depends on where YOU want to go to. |
