I was curious if any of you out there, who play WoW, know of any guilds that are based in Korea that have English speaking players (I'd say Korean is okay too, but my Korean skill is rather low for gaming) or at least guilds that raids, etc. during a convenient time for those in Korea? I've been trying to find a guild for a while, but with no luck. I play with Australians these days, but it's a bit inconvenient due to daylight savings and what not.
I have both U.S. and Korean accounts, although since I only recently created the Korean account, all my characters, etc. are on the U.S. servers
With the upcoming expansion, it would be nice to find some peeps in Korea to slay internet dragons with.
If you don't want to post the details here, feel free to PM me! Maybe if there isn't one and there is enough interest, we could start up our own! ;P |

My girlfriend and I have played off and on since release and we're both hoping to get back into it for Cata but are in a similar situation. Our RL friends raid west coast time and, while we love the guild and server, we want to either start or join an expat guild on an English server that does some 10 mans at a good time. Even that has proven difficult as some people don't want to raid at 10pm Korea time as they have to get up early for public school and us hagwan folks seem to prefer later times.
If you do want to start something, we might be interested in helping, or at least leveling some goblins together. |

I was just looking at this problem recently. I've now got a rogue and a druid on an oceanic server(Tharussian-PVP horde) Will be looking to be a main tank somewhere once Cata drops. |

Let me know folks. I'd be willing to reroll on a new server or transfer my 80 Druid over (resto + boomkin). |

Word to the wise: make sure to look up the physical location of the server before deciding where to make this TEFL guild... all WoW servers are hosted in the U.S. and some "Oceanic" servers are located in the central time zone o_O
Also, wowtunnels is a great service for getting your ping down. |

I have most of my characters on Blackrock. It was an unofficial Oceanic server back in the day, so you still get an appreciable amount of Oceanic groups running around there and makes it so the server is quite lively at all times, which is nice for doing something more than idling in the main cities. No dead times like there are on other servers that cater to a specific time zone (i.e. U.S. EST).
My ping is pretty decent to it since it is a Pacific server and I don't use anything aside from this:

I would be interested in doing this especially since blizzard just made it possible to get the whole WoW collection for 60 bucks on battle net until 11/29
edit: Just tell me which server and such |

Yo!
I'm definitely interested in transferring a toon or re-rolling to an oceania server. Let me know when and where. I don't have the time to do hardcore raiding, but it would be nice to play with some fellow ex-pats/teachers/whatever. Personally if I re-roll I'd like to do Horde, since i've only lvled characters Alliance side, but it doesn't matter too much.
Cheers
Actually, I take that back...I want to roll a worgen Druid. |

I wouldn't mind playing Alliance. Been a while.
What server folks? Toss up the server and your handles... Going to start a fresh toon when you let me know. |

I'll do some forum browsing. I'm on Runetotem and it is fairly lively when I get on even tho it is mid morning there. The server has a weaker raid progression, but its people are solid and PVP is balanced |
