I heard it closed.... Can anyone verify this for me? I was gonna head over there tomorrow to pick up a turkey. Pretty bummed about this. Also, if it's true, can anyone offer an alternative turkey store? |

Not sure about Hannam.
Frozen turkey can be had at Costco or ezshopkorea (online). Both are frozen. They're both expensive. The ones I found at Costco were enormous (9+ kg). You better get thawing them pretty fast (hope you're not planning on cooking on Thursday). |

I don't know! Arghhhh...
I need the big ones - I've got about 10 people to feed, but dinner's not until Sunday, so I've got lots of time still. |

It has closed for good.I have been going there for almost 15years. But there is still the delicatessen and another market which has foreign products and a big freezer which contains a few turkeys and other frozen foods. |

yeah it closed a while ago people must be thinking of that foreign food market near the bottom of the stairs and the deli, in feb the meat market had closed and the shelves were pretty bare
remember costco and places like the foreign food market really killed them in recent years, it was sad to see them go part of the old korea like the nashville restaurant etc. that us longtimers have a special fondness for
the really sad day will be when the red door closes, lets hope not, she has been there since the 80s at least |

I actually prefer that place to the big supermarket anyway. It's called Dandy's Grocery, BTW. |

My buddies and I used to love to lug big bags of imported beer down to the bowling alley. We were back and forth for hours. It was a monthly ritual I sorely miss these days. |
