Does anyone know of a hairdresser in Seoul that knows how to put highlights into a white person's blonde hair? |

Hair and Joy in Hongdae is a great place. My ex had it done there and she loved it. They speak English. Ask for Lucy or Johnny. |

I concur. Best set of highlights/lowlights I've ever gotten. There is a thread about this that you might be able to search on here that suggests a few other places but they seem to be hit or miss. Hair and Joy is awesome, great atmosphere and everything however it comes at a price. My hair was about 200,000 won. It was worth it for piece of mind though, knowing that my hair wasnt going to be orange when I left! I will definately go back, and it should be cheaper next time as I wont need a full head done! |

Thanks! Is 200,000 the going rate in Korea? Does anyone know of a good place that is a little cheaper? |

No. 200,000 is not the going rate. Family Hair or The Green Turtle (both in Itaewon) serve foreigners and almost exclusively and they do a fine job for less than half of that. |
