if you have no luck here try bargaining at Yongsan station. The first floor of the electronics mall is dedicated to Cameras. |

Hey Sieungo, do not go to Yongsan, hundreds of phising guys there,
Last time, when I went there to buy my Canon 50D, I visited ALL stores,
They all gave me a 50D and said that "BRAND NEW", but when I checked the
shutter count, it was around 4000 shots, even 20k shot, damm it, I NEVER BUY A
CAMERA IN YONGSAN ANYMORE, THERE ARE MANY FOREIGNERS BUYING CAMERAS HERE,
at that time, I told many people how to check the shutter count, they were so surprised too.
anyway, good bye Yongsan (ipark mall, digital land...) forever! |

OMG !! i intend to go there to find a "BRAND NEW" camera in the case i cannot find a second-hand one. Maybe i had better go to Namdaemun for finding a camera instead of Yongsan. Thanks for your advice ^^ |

On naver.shopping the price fluctuates a lot. Right now its around 720,000 for body alone
But a few weeks ago was around 600,000
Anyway, id never bother with the local multifloor outlets these days for anything gadget wise. Korean sites are getting easier to navigate and use english, so no point in wasting the money just cos in the past it was too difficult to buy online |

Unless it's the brand new, the used one you should check directly by yourself before purchasing it. So i think it's better go to Namdaemun to check and choose what you like. The price is around 750-770k KRW for the used one (under 10,000 shots) and 850k KRW for brand new, for your reference. |

just google for some program with checking the shuttle count then bring the laptop along with you. when you buy the camera, take 1 photo and check. |

I agree with you. Yongsan Ipark is full of rippers. The best place to buy camera is namdaemun. The last time i check the price of d90 body on namdaemun it ranges to 780k-800k. That was 3 weeks ago. Im planning on buying a d90 this coming december or january and maybe the price will drop hopefully bec. the new d7000 is already out. |

What about lenses? I have a body so that's no problem, but do the Yongsan people do some real shady stuff with the lenses? |
