Looks like an improved version of Tie Fighter. If that is the case I might very well want to try it. Tie Fighter is my favourite flight game, but mostly because I haven't tried any decent flight games. They are not exactly popular these days. |

+1 for Tie Fighter, Starcraft, Quake (now on Android!)
I also loved X-wing, SMB, Zelda, Castlevania, Resident Evil
Thing that made 'em great was that they had replay-ability. You could beat the game and it would still be fun to go and play them again. And again.
I lost a whole year in uni due to Quake (bless you, Id software) |

for space sims, nothing beats Colony Wars (1 and 2) on the ps1
branching mission paths depending on beating or failing certain missions, i think over 10 endings for each game. that's replayability for you. |

Half-Life 2 is my favorite fps, the Gravity Gun is awesome and controlling an always replenished squad of ant-lions using them to clear rooms is too much fun. Only which the gravity gun worked on the mobs. For RTS, personal favorite was C&C- easy, clean interface, fun, replayable. Multiplayer FPS is easily COD:MW2 MMORPG WoW- Vanilla was great, Bc decent, wrath OK, Cata will be awesome.
My all-time favorite game was Tachyon: the Fringe space combat game with open flying environments, good boss fights and Most importantly Bruce Campbell voicing the hero http://www.giantbomb.com/tachyon-the-fringe/61-16616/
Serious Sam and State of emergency get a honorable mentions for pure mindless carnage |
I absolutely loved Half Life 2, I only played it because I bought the orange box pack with a bunch of games all in one. I was surprised, It was put together really well, I especially liked it when you were in dark tunnels and had to use a flashlight knowing around any corner there could be something scary. |

Zelda Ocarina of Time (I never played but people say it's the best game they've played. Can anyone confirm this?)
And of course, Goldeneye. Goldeneye was awesome. |

... has gotta be "prey", a fps about a native american sucked into space by aliens. wild graphics, solid story, and just plain trippy. check it out. |
Did you have freeze ups where it crashes on the, "Ascent," level? I can't get past 2nd round of shooting the flying bad guys in the large room after entering the 2 small rooms in the rear. Awesome game ran smoothly until this. |

I just got Fallout: New Vegas and I can say confidently that it's the greatest game ever. It makes Fallout 3 look like Pitfall.
I'm not even a big video game player, but I got it on Monday and have ignored everything else since then. |

how does it make fallout 3 look like pitfall? seems like it's pretty much more of the same....the same being a lot of fun, though. |
