Hello everyone,

I'm giving a winter homebrewing class. Check the link if you're interested.

I've been brewing for about 2 years now so I've got lots of advice about how to brew *in Korea*, because it can be a little challenging here, but it's getting better.

Come out, meet people, have good food, drink good beer (I'm getting some belgian beers in for the tasting section!!!!!), and STOP DRINKING CASS!!!

I'm interested in homebrewing, but youtube tutorials are free, ya know...

I'll be adding this in a second but:

Tutorial
Food
1 liter of homebrew from me
Tasting--I'll be bringing about 4-7 beers, 2 of them will be from a bar called Virgin that only has belgian beers.
Q&A session
Owner of goodbeer.co.kr will be there with discounted kits and ingredients
Also: schmoozing. The last beer class ended up going for an extra 2 hours because we all just shot the sh-t and got to know each other. I'm actually good friends now with like 4 of the people who came and we're planning a huge event in March.

Now, can you get any of that from Youtube? Smile

That's actually a big point. One of the compliments about the first class was that people would watch youtube videos but they wouldn't necessarily click. In my opinion there's nothing like watching someone go fully through the motions at least once. The other problem is that if you watch enough youtube vids of homebrewing, you'll notice that EVERYONE is doing some part of the process differently. Not only that, but there's no guarantee that the equipment someone's using will be in Korea.

Sign me up!

Seriously, sign me up. I'll wire the money if you give us your bank account number.

50 bones isn't much to learn one of the most important skills a man can learn. ESPECIALLY a man living in Korea and forced to drink the ass and shite they have here.

I think the discount will be about 10%. Doesn't sound like much but if you buy the full kit and some ingredients for the first batch, it could potentially be like 12 or 15,000. You're also obviously saving on shipping so add in another 2,500. Pretty good if you're set on doing this anyway.

I beliiiiieeevvveee the owner of the cooking studio will be whipping up pulled pork sandwiches (no joke).

Ok, the payment info is up.

Also, I've confirmed with Daniel Gray that lunch that day will be pulled pork!

Man. I would love to be there, but am playing a gig that day. Would appreciate advice about homebrewing in Korea, though- I've done a bit back in the states, but no idea where to get equipment round here...

Best,
Justin
