this must be rather new, but the sarawak forestry department on borneo are now requiring those who want to stay in their national park accommodation to pay in total a week before the reservation date.
that itself isn't a problem for me, but how exactly do i pay?! there is no online payment system set up and they only mention that i should go to the booking office in kuching (that's in borneo). i've asked for banking information, but i haven't heard anything back yet.
help would really be appreciated! i'm also planning a homestay through them, but this payment system has got me very frustrated. |

We made an online reservation a few days ago for Bako park, showed up the day before yesterday and paid then and there. Not sure about your conundrum, as we obviously did not have to pay in advance.
Is this regulation only because you are trying to make a booking in advance? Which park are you trying to make a reservation for? |
