Although I really don't care for Fox news, I'd love to see how they'd handle this if it were President Obama who made this mistake:

"Just a Freudian slip, Comrade Obama? The Czar hints at a potential alliance with the evil North Korean terrorist state. From Socialism to Communism, is there no length the President will go to to destroy America and her freedoms? "

In seriousness though, that's a really big error on Palin's part. I'd love to see how she backtracks from this. Isn't North Korea close to Alaska too?

The she repeated multiple times. It's known fact that she doesn't have a clue about international relations. How do we know it? Her handlers came out and told us.

She refers to Obama's need to "sanction" what North Korea is going to do, then immediately thereafter says that we need to support our North Korean allies. On second listen, you could be right, but the way I heard it the first time was that she's talking about sanctioning North Korea in terms of supporting whatever actions the country might take in response (the "going to do") and follows it up by saying we're bound by treaty to support them.

Not sure if I am understanding you right... But sanctions are not something can help a country...

So when you say "she's talking about sanctioning North Korea in terms of supporting whatever actions the country might take" it would mean she simply messed up what she was going on about. Can you clear this up for me? Sorry. >.<

I honestly think she just made a mistake and simply said North instead of South. Nothing new. She IS a moron.

The verb form of sanction is tricky in that it can either mean endorse or penalize. Here:

Quote:
Verb
to sanction (third-person singular simple present sanctions, present participle sanctioning, simple past and past participle sanctioned)
(transitive) To give authorization or approval to something; to ratify.
(transitive) To penalize a state, especially for violating international law.

The way she used it, she was not saying penalizing it, as she was discussing sanctioning their actions, not sanctioning the state itself. The way I heard it was that she was using the approving use of sanctions, not the penalizing form.

Sarah is crazy like a fox. She takes the main chance, she sees opportunities and jumps on them. She has been able to use her stunning good looks to caterpult her way to success. Before she was chosen as McCain's running mate she was living a relatively simple life in Alaska. Since then she has written two books, is on the speaking tour and has her own reality show. She has made millions.

Her daughter Bristol has done nothing in her life but get pregnant while a high school student. Now she is an 'expert' on teen pregnacy, has been on numberous talk shows and is dancing with the stars. She has also made considerable lucre. Talk about turning lemons into lemonaide.

Same with Levi, the baby daddy. He has been in Playgirl, gives numerous interviews with rags like People Mag and last I heard was running for the mayor of their hometown.

Sarah is going to run this political thing all the way to the bank. She will run it as long as it lasts and then just fade away.
