I've been having trouble sleeping. Can I get a prescription for Ambien or other sleep aids? Thanks for your advice. |

Yes, it's possible, but only in small amounts such as 5 or 10 pills. If you go back for a refill 2 or 3 times then you maybe be referred to a psychiatrist of some sort. I didn't go to the psychiatrist so I'm doing without Ambien instead of finding out if I could get more of them that way. A silly pharmacist directly told me it's bad to take a hypnotic drug and I shouldn't use drugs of any sort, but I feel it's beneficial in small half pill doses. They have everything available here, but their health system has it's ways of discouraging medicine even, if used appropriately, significantly improves you living. Back home it's easy to see a doctor where you get 30 pills a month for as long as you wish. Being that I don't take that much, it leaves you a reserve to take a whole pill for flights, rooming with others, and other inconvenienced situations involving noise or just your nerves.
I'd love to find out where I can see a doctor that makes sense and who isn't a psychiatrist I feel skeptical about. I called Itaewon International Clinic about this and the lady wasn't very receptive, but just said nothing is available on Saturdays due to being too busy. I asked her if there is any health providers info line that can list the specialists in my area or any area. I want to find a doctor who specializes in sleep disorders and such, but can't find info to research my options. |

Just make sure you don't take it until you're going to go to sleep. I took one right before a red eye flight once, and then the flight got delayed. I was tripping balls within a half hour. |

Try the Seoul Sleep Clinic in Gangnam.
You'll have to translate the page, or you could just call them up and see if they can help.
