Hey everyone! I'm rich! I just found out today. No more smelling white board marker ink for the Nester.

Check out the email I just received.

"Good Day,
I am mr. Joseph Kabore director auditing and accounting department" bank of Africa (boa) Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso .I discovered the sum of seven million, two hundred thousand dollars (usd7.2) belonging to a deceased customer of this bank the fund has been lying in a suspense account without anybody coming to put claim over the money since the account owner late, mr Salla khat from Lebanese who was involved in the December 28th 2006 Benin car crash.

it is therefore, upon this discovery that i decided to take this ultimatum and make this business proposal to you as the fund will be release to you as the next of kin or relation to the deceased for safety and subsequent disbursement since nobody is coming for it and i don't want this money to go into the bank treasury as unclaimed bill the banking rules here stipulates that if such money remained unclaimed after five years, the money will be transferred into the bank treasury as unclaimed fund. The request of foreigner as next of kin in this business is occasioned by the fact that the deceased customer was a foreigner and a Burkina be cannot stand as next of kin to a foreigner.

Therefore, I soliciting for your assistance to come forward as the next of kin. I have agreed that 40% of this money will be for you as the beneficiary respect of the provision of your account and service rendered, 60% will be for me. Then immediately the money transferred to your account from this bank, i will proceed to your country for the sharing of the funds.

Yours faithful,

Mr.Joseph Kabore

Only classy folks sign their name with "Mr."

And it's got to be legitimate. It's not like it's from Nigeria.

I am happy for you that you now have more economic freedom, but I have to warn you that these new found riches may have a dark side to them as well. Money will seldom make you happy, and you have to be careful how you spend them and what others will think of you. My first reaction to your post was that you are someone who should be protected from yourself. Flaunting your riches like this will likely soon part you from your fortune. My advice is to keep them to yourself and not spend any more than usual, however, use your riches to chose your employment without thinking of the salary. That is your true freedom.

I am also very sorry for your loss of your dear Andreas. I hope you will come over this traumatic time. You can easily be taken advantage of in such a situation of grief. What Mr. Abdullah offers you might see, like a good deal in your current situation, but he is also taking a large percentage of what is rightfull yours. He is asking for 50% of your inheritance, which amount of more than 6 million dollars. I would advice you not to accept his offer before you have negotiated better terms.

What kind of a high roller are you that you get such elaborate scam letters, complete with links to BBC news sites which prove that people died? The ones I recieve are much simpler. I think the last one I received was signed "Mr. Peter". Really?

I will just think of the 6 million dollars as a maintenance fee. I'm sure housing, pension, and insurance won't be provided. However, he seems like a really honest guy. Too, the economy isn't so good these days so I figure I better take any offer I can get. I will make sure I get a contract so I won't have anything to worry about! Laughing

Looks like Nigeria isn't the only country giving away free money! Got this in my junk mail today.

Hello,

Inflation is rising everywhere due to the financial meltdown, and so is the cost of living but I have got a Nine million pounds proposal for you which will be of benefit to both of us.

I am a lawyer and i have sat on a 9 year forgotten financial inheritance. In few weeks time, this fund will be transferred to the state as required by law but not if we both collaborate and share the proceeds 60/40. Your part would be to receive the funds as the beneficiary and I will prepare the required documents and in just day's the funds would be transferred to you. Please reply this mail stating full name, age and phone details if you are interested. So i can start the claims process.

Many thanks in advance as i look forward to our partnership and trust.

Barr Mrs Chio Hung.
