And rising. Tell me why this should not also be considered a holocaust. |

Maybe you have to reach that coveted 6 million mark to call it a holokaust? |

I just want it to end. Really end. Not this PR BS that Obama puts out. Actually end. We can talk about how to title the experience later. |

Its not a holocaust...because it involves muslims killing other mzlms.
Where there are no infidels available, they tend to satisfy their bloodlust by having a go at eachother.
At best you might call it a squabble. In Islam, you have to kill at least 20 million to raise any eyebrows. |

If the West had remained truly Christian it wouldn't be in any debt. So not only is your anti-Christian commentary gratuitous, it's also plain ignorant. |
yeah and maybe if America didn't have any homosexuals, there would be no typhoons either right? |
Maybe I'm being too rational but I read that as a reference to usury. Traditional Christianity didn't allow for interest on loans (thus why Jews became Europe's bankers). |
Northway, you should know by now that any comment that isn't gratuitously and bitterly opposed to the idea of God is, ipso facto, irrational. If you want to fit in, you should try to pepper your posts with uncredited quotations from whoever happens to be the militant atheist du jour. |

Definition of holocaust:
| Quote: |
Definition of HOLOCAUST
1: a sacrifice consumed by fire
2: a thorough destruction involving extensive loss of life especially through fire <a nuclear holocaust>
3 a often capitalized : the mass slaughter of European civilians and especially Jews by the Nazis during World War II usually used with the
b: a mass slaughter of people; especially : genocide |
Definition 2 can apply (since it qualifies with "especially"), and definition 3b can also apply. I don't see anything in this definition which demands multiple social groups or cultures being involved.
One million deaths is horrific. Muslims are still human beings. |

My comment didn't even have anything to do with God, just history. |

Yeah right. Go to the USA and tell church people the USA shouldn't go further into debt in order to give money to Israel. You'll hear Genesis 12:3 so many times, you'll get tired of hearing it. I don't know what their plan to repay our national debt is, but since it's no longer humanly possible, one can only assume they're counting on a miracle from a higher power. |
12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
Next time you hear a Christian Zionist quote this, let him know that with the coming of Christ, the old covenant was fulfilled and surpassed. If anything, such passages now refer (like the symbolic word Israel) to the universal Church, although you probably shouldn't mention that to fundamentalists, because they'll stop listening to you. If there are any other passages they like to quote, let me know and I'll tell you how to make an internal critique. |
