First, what does "possibility" Duksung mean?

Second, read what qcat79 says about Soonchunghyang here http://forums.eslcafe.com/korea/viewtopic.php?t=187273&start=15&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=Soonchunhyang

Quite a few of my Korean friends love Yeosu, saying it's their favorite place to visit in Korea. However, you should know it's around 5 hours away from Seoul, but I've heard KTX is planned to be done sometime in 2011 and will make the trip to Seoul around 3 hours.

I'd strongly prefer Duksung- unless it's a bad place to work, I have no idea. But it's in Seoul. There is just so much to do in Seoul. However, if you're they type who likes the countryside, and beauty of far out parts of Korea, Yeosu would be a great choice.

"possibly" Duksung would be my choice, if they do indeed offer. Not everyone needs or wants to be in/near Seoul, but that is one of the strongest pluses. You need to weigh out the actual benefits of each school as well.

Yeosu is a favorable vacation destination for Koreans, but it's not exactly exciting. I've been there, and I don't feel an overwhelming urge to return again. The finer details of the position will need to be favorable to draw you there.

Duksung has the most to offer in terms of proximity to shopping, finer dining, nightlife, and culture. Then again, I have friends who have considered working there and chosen universities just outside of Seoul instead. They all considered it a "foot in the door" kind of job that would eventually lead to better positions.

Soonchunghyang is well documented on the board these days. People have given the place mixed reviews, and, again, the key to your happiness is likely hidden somewhere in the contract.
