Yeah, no kidding.
I was just looking at the people this morning rush hour on the subway. If there's that kind of intensity in a normal peace-time scenario, you don't wanna imagine what these people will be like if all hell broke loose. I love Korea, Koreans, etc, but gotta admit... they would be the worst people to be in the middle of when trying to survive in a harsh environment. It would be every man for himself. |

| Maybe, I will take my diplomas with me when I go on vacation. Hey, if there is a war, I will have to apply for a new job elsewhere. |

Actually in a truly drastic situation like that I think they might have a punchers chance.
All that "Sit down, shut up, and do this" might come into play. |

| Back to the original topic, my and my husband sort of worked out a plan. Not really in panic, but more in a fire-drill kind of way. We mutually decided that we would ONLY try to leave if our embassy told us to. If they tell us to stay put, we stay put. We allow ourselves thirty minutes to pack, one bag each (yes we leave over half our stuff here) withdraw all of our cash, and take our motorbike to the evacuation point. We call our families from the 'safe haven' we're evacuated to, have our monies wired to us, and get outa dodge. |
