I keep hearing about this movie and I'd really like to see it. Is it going to release in Korea? I've looked and looked and I can't find any information! I will be really sad if I can't watch it on the big screen. Sad

I hope this comes here, too. There's a chance. Korea surprises me sometimes. Natalie Portman's a pretty big movie star, so that helps. It also sounds like she's the front runner for Best Actress at next year's Oscars. That may not mean anything, but it doesn't hurt.

I doubt anyone cares about directors here, but that guy's last one, The Wrestler, came out here. Hopefully it did well.

I thought I heard this was about figure skating, which definitely would get it played over here for obvious reasons. But it turns out it's about ballet. Anyway I watched the preview and really couldn't figure out who it was marketed towards. It seems to be a thriller about a jealous ballet dancer screwing with a better ballet dancer... kind of like the whole Nancy Kerrigan/Tonya Harding thing... anyway, I see everything but it doesn't strike me having the potential for a big hit. Maybe girls into dancing and Natalie Portman (and the dark-haired chick from "That 70s Show"... GOD she's gorgeous.), but I'm not sure who else.

I guess Koreans are into thrillers somewhat, so this has a chance.

PS- If anyone hears whether "True Grit" is coming or not, feel free to let me know so I don't have to worry about flying to Japan or whatever it takes to see it on the big screen.
