Seems like it would be stressfull to be teaching my classes on the last day of my contract knowing that I needed to be out of the country that night.

Yes, you can get a FREE (NOT allowed to work) extension from your local immigration office by showing your passport, ARC and ticket out of Korea.
They will extend your stay until your ticket (up to 30 days past your ARC expiry).
You can do it any time within the last 30 days of your ARC.

you can ask. They may or may not - depends on the officer behind the desk.
In my experience, the Suwon office is usually accommodating for those sorts of things if you have the tickets in hand to show.

I hope so. Any idea about this? My husband, a citizen of a third world country, will be coming back on the 6th of Feb, His F3 expires the 22nd of Feb. Any chances that he-d get asked for a flight OUT of Korea? |
