|
|
I have been noticing my male university students wearing UGG boots, and at first I was shocked and had a good laugh. But then I saw four or five wearing them around the campus. Some of them were even wearing "skinny jeans" with the boots....
So I asked my students and they said that many men are wearing them these days.....
I called BS on that one and googled the celebrities they told me were wearing them....
Low and behold, celebrities had them on their feet....
I cant be the only one who thinks UGG boots for men is strange???? |

I think Ugg make boots for men that are a little more 'rugged'. As long as these chaps aren't wearing the chick boots, then it's all good. |

If it's actually cold then I say why not. I think that in the winter warmth trumps the need to look good. Uggs are pretty much the warmest footwear around. |

If the ladies like it then what is the problem? Better than the foreigners who wear socks with sandals by a mile. |

No, I don't. I wear denim jackets with metal patches and bullet belts, but what would it matter if I did wear them? Are you so insecure about yourself that you need to find fault in what others wear? Grow up, man. |

Male ugboots are definitely shameful. I've only seen one person wearing them, and I secretly took a pic and showed it to my friends on facebook. Luckily it's not a trend happening in my hometown cuz my friends were shocked. |

I've definitely seen them for sale for men. Personally, I dislike all Uggz...regardless of who they're worn by. |

Unless you are naked, whatever you are currently wearing will be considered odd in 20 or so years and would have been considered odd 20 years ago.
I saw some women wearing pants the other day. Pants! |

Just because OP finds something strange doesn't mean he's insecure - we all have different tastes. Lighten up.
Majority of men must look hilarious in them (just as women do, come on now, uggs are hideously ugly ) but I bet some guys can really pull them off... |

I agree that they look bad on both males and females. When I was in high school (early 90's) more men wore them than women. They were popular with people who went surfing before school because they probably feel warm after being out in the ocean at 5am. I also think Birkenstocks look terrible and would never wear them back home. However I wear them almost everyday in the summer in Korea. |

correct me if I am wrong, but uggs were originally for men.
they were for surfers who had dry and cracked skin on their feet after being in the Ocean all day, and the sheep skin was comfortable after a long day of surfing ! |
