I get that. But for a country as geographically small as Korea, with 50% of the population living in or around Seoul, you would think KT could invest is better, faster towers to handle 3G. Its not like they have thousands of square miles to cover. |

| KT 3G works awesome for me. Web surfing and Googling are almost instant. Then again i'm in Gangnam or Itaewon most of the time. |

Funny too, when I lived in the states I was always jealous of SK and Japan for their ridiculously fast (at the time) mobile speeds. Then I move to SK and America and read that Verizon just launched their "3.9G" network based on the LTE standard in the US which can eventually be upgraded to "true 4g."
To add insult to injury, I've also read that at the current time SK has no plans of doing a major rollout to 4g as "they are happy with the current speeds and service to demand on their infrastructure."
At first it made me sad to think that the US is overtaking the ROK in this field but then I remember how much the 1g, 2g, and for the most part their 3g networks (which most 3g networks in the US being 2g and marketed as 3g) sucked in the US and how history would say that they will botch up 4g as well.
All I know is I want their 12Mbps downlink speeds, and this from a network in its infancy...
