When you look at what happens in these previously unknown incestuous relationships, "genetic sexual attraction" is a serious misnomer.
I'm going to make the conjecture that the attraction is initially not sexual. Contrary to what GSA would say, you are more likely to be sexually attracted to someone who is genetically very different from you to maximize chances of healthy offspring.
It's a delicate balance. For Darwinian purposes, you are also more likely to like being near those who are genetically close to you, (family). Ironically, it can have to do with possible reasons outlined in the article about GSA.
Once you automatically trust this person who is unknowingly your relative and feel a certain need to be around them more than others, it may be easy to "fall in love" with this individual due to mixed-up feelings, possibly from lack of the Westermarck effect (which I find dubious).
You'll notice, for example, people who've ever had a GSA relationship describe it as a sort of obsession to be with them and NOT a one-night-stand kind of lusty affair. |

But we are talking about INCESTUOUS relationships, which means it has to be sexual, otherwise we would probably just call genetic romantic attraction.
But as it is claimed, GSA is a non-scientific term. so it is still debatable if genes play a role in some sexual attractions.
My assumption is , since human beings are all from commom ancestors, the evolutionary history suggested we did and had to mate with our relatives, would the incestuous relationships nowadays among some people part of the residuals of our ancestral behaviors? |

Must...resist...urge...
Incest is the best! Put your sister to the test!
With one hand on her breast, you forsake the family crest!
