.....I'll give you a hint, it isn't Vermont.

The Governor of Kentucky and a company called Ark Encounter LLC announced plans to build a $150-million full-scale Noah's Ark. It will be part of a larger creationism park that will feature a Walled City and a replica Tower of Babel.

Ark Encounter is the same company that designed and built the Creation Museum in Kentucky that has hosted over one million guests in three years.

"We are very blessed to be a part of this new project," said Ken Ham, president and founder. "We hope that this fun and educational complex...will become another popular tourist destination."

They estimate the Ark will attract 1.6 million visitors in the first year and create 900 jobs.
Ark Encounters plans to raise most of the money to pay for the land-locked ship. Their website has pledge suggestions with $100 buying a peg and going up from there.

"We are constructing a full-scale, all-wood ark based on the dimensions provided in the Bible (Genesis 6)," says the company website. "It should become the largest timber-frame structure in the U.S.A."

And after finishing it, in the first actual "creation science" experiment ever, they'll take two animals of every type and a small group of humans, stuff them all in the ark, and lock them in for an extended period, testing the hypothesis that it's possible to survive.

Fox, I totally understand why you're seriously considering staying abroad. I would too if I were you.
