Anybody been yet? In the brochure it looks like a combination of Costco/Sam's Club with a Best Buy.

Yongin. I went this afternoon. It's pretty much as pictured. The second floor has some big pet store and a big electronics store similar to a Best Buy complete with sales associates wearing blue button-downs and khakis. A nice, roomy place to shop with good deals, though I'm no expert on electronics prices. Bought a LCD TV on sale. Merry Christmas!

The first floor looked like Costco from the escalator but I didn't go look around there. I did see muffins and croissants in someone's shopping cart so it seems like the pizzas were just the beginning of the benchmarking. Place was packed--you had to wait for a shopping cart--but things seemed to be moving OK.

Sounds interesting.

Where in Yongin is it? Is it easy to get to from Jukjeon or Bojeong stations?

Thanks.

It's past the Bojeong station towards Yongin. It's on the same road but probably too far to walk, so you'd have to take a bus or taxi. It was previously a regular E-Mart which, if you're familiar with the area, you might remember.

Thanks for your post. I forgot I wanted to look that up! I passed by it a few days ago and wasn't sure what it was. It was the first E-mart Traders I've ever seen. Wasn't even sure if it was open to the public. Sounds interesting. And the location is right, it's down the main road from Bojeong Station (last stop on the Bundang line) but definitely take a bus or taxi for about 5 minutes more or less. It's on the right hand side.

Is this in the same building that was originally a Walmart then changed to Emart?

It does look very similar to a cross between CostCo and Sam's Club/Walmart.

Yeah, same building, the big slanted roof you can see from the highway. Very accessible via the Tancheon trail system, they go right behind the place.

first was a Walmart, that failed because they didn't stock anything you couldnt buy elsewhere.
then it become Emart, again just like Homeplus or lottemart, all items are same.
now E traders. hahahahah first off all the name blows.

anyway I hope this store will actually stock items which one can not just buy from the local super, lotte mart, or emart..
otherwise I don't see them doing any new business. Pizza and Bakery perhaps??? ahahahahaha funny how the costco pizza area kills it..
guess everyone is trying to jump on that bandwagon.
