|
|
Spent the night in the police station while my friend was getting booked for calling a girl ugly and her claiming sexual assault in him. The cops were pretty rough in the initial arrest and my camera got smacked on the ground and now is seemingly screwed.
It's a Samsung Digital, the dual view TL240 I think.
My question is: Does anyone know where there's a Samsung Service center around Isu/ the Dongjak area? I need to get this fixed before X-mas... |

Is there a need to call a Korean girl ugly? I'm guessing it was in the club and people were liquored up. Advances weren't returned and it all went south
Also, Google is your friend http://www.samsung.com/sec/support/repairlocation/ServiceLocationsMain.do |

Thanks, I'll check out Technomart if I can't sort through the online locator.
As far as the back story, we (my girlfriend, friend and I) were actually outside trying to get a cab when a verbal altercation broke out between my friend and two quite drunk Korean ladies. I guess they both went for the cab and they started swearing at him so he called them ugly b*tches which is when they said they were going to call the cops. We started laughing at them for calling the police for being called ugly etc etc, Cops show up, now all of a sudden the girls say he grabbed their chests (blatant lie). The cops tried to grab my friend, he pulled away which was when they both slammed him to the ground and cuffed him. Yada Yada Yada, 8 hours at the Police station later with quite sympathetic police and a busted camera.
It basically just came down to the fact of He-Sais She said, he was a foreigner and they were Korean girls. Kindof already over before it started. Initially we were not given any opportunity to explain ourselves, until we were moved from the small little cop shop to the regional one.
Ultimately the cops said they were sorry this had to happen and they know we didn't do anything but they filed a complaint so the paperwork had to go through. There was no proof so it's still a he said she said kinda deal but he still had to sign a bunch of papers saying he was guilty but he apologized = no record.
BTW, balzor why do you assume that it was a case of unreturned advances? Is there a need to call a K-girl ugly... no. Though there is also no need for people to call others assh*les, b*tches, etc etc but it happens all the time.
Anyways thanks for the help^^ I hope it's not too expensive :S |

How many times does it have to be said here? "SIGN NOTHING!" That signed admission can easily bite him in the rear. |

I was saying that over and over again but everyone told me to be quiet. I personally couldn't get over the fact that we were getting in trouble based on pure lies. I can understand it if there had been some physical altercation but PURE LIES!? It was incredibly frustrating for me at the time to see my friend have to admit to doing something he didn't just to be able to go home. I would have sat there and refused to sign anything. But that's just me.
Regardless, I just wanted to see if anyone knew of a repairshop. Don't really wanna rehash this whole thing.
Thanks again |

Your friend signed statements admitting to sexual assault? Jeez!
Anyway, look for a Samsung store (similar to a Hi-Mart store) and ask them where a service center is. They're usually fairly close to each other. |
