I recently bought a bread maker machine. It works great but the packaged bread mixes at Homeplus, E-mart, etc. are quite expensive (probably cheaper to just buy bread at a bakery).
Does anybody know where I can buy bulk bread making supplies in Seoul? I'm thinking there has to be some place selling everything under one roof........................ |

Bangsan Market by one of the Euljiro Stations is the place to go! You can get directions from various websites. Just google Bangsan Market. There will also be a tour there with the chef from the pie shop in Itaewon called Tartine this Saturday. Let me know if you need more info. |

Homeplus should have most of the raw ingredients you need... flour, sugar, baking powder etc. The foreign food mart in Itaewon usually has yeast, I've also found it in random Indian-owned food shops in other parts of the country. |

You can buy yeast at E-Mart or Lotte Mart, and most likely Home Plus as well! |

Thanks. However, I am a little confused by all the bread recipes because they call for "bread" flour (and say that regular flour won't work well). Anyone know what bread flour is called in Korean? |
