i have a nokia 'smart phone' that i want to bring with me for internet (hahaha) and at least to be able to use as an alarm clock (not having a decent/reliable alarm clock has been the scourge of my travels lately).
how would i go about charging it? would i be able to find local chargers/plugs in either country? |

Bring your charger with you or buy a travel charger from e-mart (10k won or less).
Most wall plugs here are "universal" and will accept the standard double-round or double-flat prong plugs.
The voltages are the same as Korea (220-240VAC) and most chargers don't worry about the frequency (50/60hz).

| If I was travelling I would be not carrying a smart phone but would bring the cheapest nokia that nobody would care to take. Too many internet outlets there to need a phone for that. |
