Is it really that unbelievable from a model?
Also the fairer sex seem to come out with things like this quite often anyway (sorry ladies!). One of my good friends here thought that Cambodia was in Africa. Needless to say she hasn't been allowed to forget that one. Also, one Korean girl I met thought that England was physically joined to the United States |

Would that allow me to write a disparaging blanket statement about all North American males?

Most spanish-speakers I've met will pretty much call any Asian "Chinese" (chinos/chinas) in Spanish unless they have extensive experience abroad or something...it's not considered offensive (kind of like how "Paki" isn't offensive in America, and "Oriental" isn't offensive in the UK).
Might be related to a Spanish -> English error rather than her supposed stupidity. |

Hmm... I can see your point, but in this case, I really think it was just brainlessness. She clearly hoped for peace between the "chinas."
It's not as retarded as saying something like, "I love China for their sushi, Toyota, Sony and Samsung"
But it's still retarded, imo. |
