Watch and listen to him say it for yourself:

Harper advisor calls for assassination of Wikileaks director

In addition, the media, who should be doing their job of uncovering this stuff, are calling instead for silencing Wikileaks:

From RT:

Media Calls for Death of WikiLeaks

That's FORMER Harper advisor. Flanagan hasn't worked for Harper for YEARS.

Flanagan retracted the statement and said he was being "glib". I believe him. Why didn't you report that, Space Cadet...er, Bar? You're a seeker of truth, aren't you?

Personally, I wouldn't lose a moment of sleep if the accused sex molester/assaulter/traitor in question was done away with....

It's shocking, no? Here we have a former adviser to the PM saying a guy should just be killed. No trial, no jury. Just kill him. What in the world is wrong with these people?

If you said that to someone on the street in Canada, they could charge you with uttering death threats.

Westerners need to look at how western governments are responding to this situation and learn a lesson from it. Bullying companies into not hosting Wikileaks. Bullying companies into refusing to engage in financial transactions with Wikileaks. Pushing Interpol into putting someone on their most wanted list for a "crime" that Swedish prosecutors originally didn't feel was worth pursuing. Casual mentions of summary execution, both for Assange and for the individual who leaked information to him.

America is getting way too comfortable just ruining anyone and anything that it's government officials take issue with, and other western nations are far too willing to indulge it in this behavior. A western organization whose goal is to inform citizens about their government's behavior is essentially being treated like a terrorist organization. This really has to stop.

I was initially sceptical to Wikileak's works, but the more ridiculous statements I hear, mostly from American politicians, the more I feel like supporting him.

OK, fixed it:

Harper ex-advisor calls for assassination of Wikileaks director

Happy?

Of course, after being excoriated for his outrageous comment he had to backtrack. Politics something new for you?

A condom broke during consensual sex, fer chrissakes!

And he is not even accused of treason, but merely publishing the leaked documents, just like the NY Times and others. So, what now, kill them all?

"So, what now, kill them all?"

Damn. That's what I call a tempting proposition.... Very Happy

But seriously folks...

Space, first...what part of "accused" did you not understand? I do not advocate the guy's assassination... I merely said that I wouldn't lose any sleep if a hit was put on him. Personally, I think he should be formally charged, given a fair, unbiased trial and then shot by firing squad. Then again, I'm someone who thinks Ellsberg got off far, far too lightly. Ditto Jane Fonda(treason takes many forms).

As for the accusation of the sexual shenanigans, that poses a dilemma for CT wingnuts. They'll have to reconcile how the CIA got a Swedish radical leftist feminist to lay a false charge against the Wiki guy at the behest of the US military-industrial complex. Then again, some those same nuts see no problem in believing Castro hooked up with the Mob(whom Castro kicked out of Cuba)to do in JFK.

I understood what you said: you'd not lose sleep if a hit were put on the ACCUSED. But of course, now you want to backtrack:

Funny you should mention that:

Assange rape accuser has CIA ties

Assange Accuser Worked with US-Funded,
CIA-Tied Anti-Castro Group

By: Kirk James Murphy, M.D.

Quote:
Yesterday Alexander Cockburn reminded us of the news Israel Shamir and Paul Bennett broke at Counterpunch in September. Julian Assanges chief accuser in Sweden has a significant history of work with anti-Castro groups, at least one of which is US funded and openly supported by a former CIA agent convicted in the mass murder of seventy three Cubans on an airliner he was involved in blowing up.

Confirmation:
Revealed: Assange 'rape' accuser linked to notorious CIA operative
Quote:
One of the women that is accusing WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange of sex crimes appears to have worked with a group that has connections to the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

James D. Catlin, a lawyer who recently represented Assange, said the sex assault investigation into the WikiLeaks founder is based on claims he didn't use condoms during sex with two Swedish women.

Swedish prosecutors told AOL News last week that Assange was not wanted for rape as has been reported, but for something called "sex by surprise" or "unexpected sex."

One accuser, Anna Ardin, may have "ties to the US-financed anti-Castro and anti-communist groups," according to Israel Shamir and Paul Bennett, writing for CounterPunch.

While in Cuba, Ardin worked with the Las damas de blanco (the Ladies in White), a feminist anti-Castro group.

Professor Michael Seltzer pointed out that the group is led by Carlos Alberto Montaner who is reportedly connected to the CIA.

Backtrack? Confused How could I be more clear & consistent in how I feel about Assange?

And you "refute" my claim about loopy, moonbat CTs by providing links to...loopy, moonbat CT websites?! Laughing

You backtracked: first, it was OK if he were merely ACCUSED, then you described being tried.

OK, everybody, from now on it is only acceptable to link to Mosley-approved websites. Rolling Eyes

Looks like the moon's calling the bat black.

Ye Gods, do I have to draw you a picture?! I'll try to make it so simple even you'll understand: Tried or not, it would cause me not a whit of regret or sorrow if this guy was shot. What the hell is "backtracking" about that?!

Look at some gems from Space's "sources":

Ardin may have ties....

appears to have worked with....

reportedly connected....

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. Not an ounce of credible hard evidence. If it walks like a moonbat, quacks like a moonbat...it's a moonbat.

When your most credible sources out of that bunch is Cockburn & Counterpunch, well... Laughing

Apparently, the Swedish women who are crying rape changed their minds about what happened between them and Assange:

Quote:
Statements by the two female victims Sophia Wilen and Anna Ardin that there was no fear or violence would stop a rape charge in any western country dead in its tracks.

Rape is a crime of violence.

Both women boasted of their respective celebrity conquests on internet posts and mobile phones texts after the intimacy they would now see him destroyed for.

Ardin hosted a party in Assanges honour at her flat after the crime and tweeted to her followers that she was with the the world's coolest smartest people, it's amazing!

Ardin has sought unsuccessfully to delete these and thereby destroy evidence of Assanges innocence. She has published on the internet a guide on how to get revenge on cheating boyfriends.
