Apple cider vinegar is a natural fighter of all that is phlegm, a few tablespoons deleted in water three times a day regularly will help then it out and get it under control. Not exactly tasty but useful.

Very helpful!

Usually use that in my hair detox regimen. Hadn't considered it as sinusitis fighter - thanks!

Nasal rinse.

Get the correct bottle from the eye/ear/nose/throat doctor. Buy some sea salt (not table salt) and baking soda (not powder). Both a readily available from EMart.

Mix it all together in a mixer (the sea salt is too coarse) at 1:1 ratio (for example 1tsp of salt, 1tsp baking soda) and keep it in an airtight container.

500ml warm water, 1 ~ 2 tsp of the mixture. Shake it up and shoot it through your nostrils. Sniff the solution up, if you can to clear out the upper sinus areas. Warm water will help with the gag reflex thing, the baking soda will alleviate any burning sensation. Use distilled water; the sinus area is a highly sensitive one and using tap water may open you up to a whole new set of circumstances.

Since I have started this regimen 2 times daily (morning and night) I have not only gotten rid of my sinusitis (headaches at night, stuffy nose, sneezing) but I have stayed healthy; no colds or other malaise. Cleans out the Seoul goo well.

I am not kidding. This simple thing raised my quality of life to a whole new level. I suffered for years with bad sinuses and all manner of related symptoms, but no more. No more medicines, no more dire messages of polyps in my sinuses, no more blocked nose, stuffy head or puffy, swollen eyes.

languistic is right: the water should be warmish and you do need to add salt. Check the yoga websites and they will confirm this. Its most important to blow your nose well after. Hang your head upside down (at knee level) and blow. This helps to stop random nasal sprinkles after. If you dont do this is can cause sinus headaches all over again.
