I need to transport my two cats and all their accessories from Seosan to Changwon. Somebody suggested that I use a call van, like a taxi. How do I do this? |

Judging from a Daejeon-based 'call van' company's fare chart which lists Daejeon-Seosan for about 120K Won and Daejeon-Changwon for about 200K Won, I'm guessing a Seosan-based company will quote around 330K~350K Won. One of the companies in Seosan seems to have a contact number 041-665-7007.
Just FYI, assuming both cats will be transported in crate(s), you might as well be able to put them in the undercarriage of intercity buses. For Seosan-Changwon, single transfer at Daejeon Dongbu Bus Terminal should suffice. (or you can just hire a van for your cats' comfort) |

Thanks for your help. I was told there was no way cats would be allowed on buses but it couldn't hurt to ask. Do you think they would be okay in the undercarriage? |

There is still no way animals will be permitted on passenger seats, but the undercarriage would be okay PROVIDED that they're locked inside crates. I got that off from express bus operators in Seoul, I expect similar practice from regional services as well.
Just in case the driver freaks out at the sight of your cats, point to your cats/crate(s) and say 'jim-kahn' which means the undercarriage. Or you can just box them up with air holes as well as fragile glass signs and 'this side up' arrows drawn all around. |
