I wanna join up for some WoW action. I like PVE, but I like PVP far more. I'd hate to be on a PVE server though.
As stated previously, most of the Oceanic servers are actually in America. I've got 3 or 4 80's on 알레리아. I forgot my acct name and password tho and probably have to go and get it back, talking with tech support is fun!
I know someone posted on how to use an English client to play on the korean servers (so you get quests and etc in english) but I'm not sure if that still works with Cata. What pings are you getting connecting to oceanic? |
i ended up re-rolling on my current server some of my friends are staying up late so i have people to level with, but i may still move over after a time |

I'm not interested in rerolling elsewhere, but I play as well.
Servers: Medivh, Sisters of Elune (both US)
Both factions on both servers.
I'm currently waiting for my Collector's Edition of Cataclysm to arrive from an eBay sale and am trying not to think about how much that's costing me.
By the way, I have an interesting problem.
I collect World of Warcraft TCG cards, and got some Korean ones here off GMarket as a neat little souvenir... and I was lucky. I got the loot card for the Ethereal Soul-Trader, which goes for over $200 on eBay. But Korean loot card codes only work for Korean servers (verified by trying a code for the Pet Biscuits which I also got). So does anyone know of any place to sell Korean loot cards? |

sorry for reviving a somewhat old thread, but is anybody playing on Korean servers?
I recently convinced my wife to make me a battle net account (dont ask how..im a genius!) so basically the only thing stopping me from playing is not knowing anyone who speaks enough english in the game.
apparently using the korean battle net lets you play the game without purchasing any of the expansions and you can even buy minutes/hours instead of paying monthly. im still not sure if ill play a lot or not, but 30 hours was only 14 000, so hour a day might be cheaper than the monthly deal...
if anyone wants to join up, pm me. im gonna try to get some korean going so i know how to..make a char haha |

Hey, can you post what kind of ping you're getting playing an Americas server from Korea?
EDIT: Horde all the way BTW... |

I split my time between two west coast servers in the U.S. (Tich and Blackrock). I ping about the same to them, which is around 200ms, maybe a bit higher if it is peak time.
East coast servers I ping around 300ms and it's definitely noticeable when I go to do arena or something like that. |
