I don't think anyone on this forum will know for sure. The only way to find out would be to apply and see what happens. Save yourself the time and apply to China....or better yet Thailand. I hear you can get yourself a really cheap MA in Thailand. Rolling Eyes

+1. It's people like the OP that are the reason why getting here is such a pain in the neck. I hope they turn you down for life.

+1 do us all a favor and dont come back

I disagree; if he did his time and earned a degree he should be allowed in.

I am all for second chances...but this person has credibility issues....
anyway...you are asking the wrong folks about this...direct your questions to the ones who HAVE the answers...immigration. Just because someone else may have pulled the same stunt and may have been approved to come back does not mean they will do it for all.
You can bet one thing for SURE....if you are approved...word will get around somehow, someway that you were caught before with a fake degree and word will get to the place you work. In fact, immigration might even tell your prospective employer.
That's good that you finally got the real deal! Congratulations.

Can we put a ban on all the idiots that do this +1 crap? How hard is it to write 'Agreed' and then let everyone know why you agree? Morons.

Somewhat related to the OP, I knew a Canadian guy that had "issues" when he left Korea, he went back to Canada, changed his last name, got a new passport, then came back to Korea.

In other words, Korea is a magnet for quality EFL teachers of the highest order!

Can we put a ban on all idiots who are not even in Korea anymore from posting on the Korean forum about what you should write and how you should write it, even though they are not mods? And then they go ahead and post something that in their own words doesn't even totally pertain to the topic at hand! Classic....

It does pertain to the topic, as to the lengths some will go to return to Korea after making a blunder in Korea.

However, it doesn't pertain to the OP because he didn't make just a blunder. He forged a document that he submitted to immigration. Major black mark. So your advice or story or whatever your pointless post was about really offers the OP as much help as those of us who +1 other people. Thanks for being a hypocrit.

Wow, you're one of those message board warriors that will pick a fight over anything.

The OP can change his last name and get a new passport, there is my advice.

And I'm not picking a fight over anything. I'm picking a fight with someone who jumps into a conversation by first calling many people "idiot's" and then goes on to not offer any help on his own. Don't flame and go trolling if you are unwilling to get flamed back and catch anything. It's pretty simple really.

If someone could explain to me how posting '+1' to a conversation adds anything of substance or worth to it I'd like to hear it. It is moronic and serves no purpose other than to boost one's post count, which is also moronic.

I'm showing that I agree and support somone elses view. Go tell facebook that their billion dollar "like idea" is moronic. Good luck with that. You're the one that comes in and derails a thread by throwing insults at people. Which person has done more harm to the conversation? Use your brain to not think of a hypocritical answer this time. Or better yet. Stay in the china forums.

On that note, could you also try using your brain and attempt to use proper spelling and punctuation in your posts? I am starting to see why you opt for '+1' over writing anything that actually contributes to the conversation.
