Ok so after being in Korea for 2.4 yers my wife and I are finally gonna get a phone. So we go to look at the iPhones. From my ignorant point of view there doesn't seem to be much difference between the 3 and 4.
My wife likes to ask 1000+ questions so we started.
One of the questions she asked and I had read some info about was... Can we use a Korean iPhone in the US? The guy says yes we just need to change the sim card and we are good. Then we ask can we use a US iPhone in Korea. He says yes just change the sim card and pay a small registration fee (about 30,000 won) and it should work just fine.
Now I've heard a US iphone can be used here but you gotta pay a big fee (around 400,000) to get it registered.
So what is it? A small fee to us a US iphone here or a big fee?
I'm not very tech savy. |
