I'd really like to get my ARC as soon as possible, so I can get a phone and internet.

How long does it generally take to get back the results?

Is it more than a week?

I got my medical check done yesterday (Thursday) afternoon. I was told I could pick it up Tuesday morning. So, less than a week.

I think that it depends on how busy the hospital/clinic is, but it shouldn't be more than a week. It could be as fast as a couple days even.

I got a little info

At Seoul National University Hospital it costs 90k and takes 2 days. They said it is mailed out registered mail, so someone has to be there to sign for it.

I guess you could go pick it up, too, if you're worried about the results.

Mine is supposed to take two days. Had it done Thursday, but because of the weekend it will be ready on Monday. Hospital right around the corner from my house as well with lots of very helpful nurses.

OK more info

public schools require more testing than hagwons who just need the basic immigration test

there is a difference in price, too.

Yeongdeungpo-gu hospital charges 33k for the basic immi test, but the results take a week to get back.

The doctor is the only one that speaks English over there, so not recommended for a total newb.
