I can't find a bus map, but subway maps are easy to find. I've been playing on my phone and have downloaded 3 apps already but none have an actual map. How annoying! Does anyone have any suggestions?

Get the Naver Maps app.

To find bus routes:
- Find your departure on the map. Hold your finger down for a couple of seconds on the point of departure. Select 출발...
- Find the arrival point and do the same thing but select 도착...
- Press the 길찾기 button top right
- In the next menu, select 대중교통
- It should give you a load of options. Click on them and in the next menu, press 지도 (top right) to see a map of the route.

If you can't read Korean, well, this is Korea...

that is for Seoul, though. Gyeonggi buses entering Seoul don't show in this system.

Follow what binch lover said. If you want to just see what bus goes where you can also do that on the naver app (but not daum app)

zoom in a bit and push the button along the button that looks like a bus. It'll show you bus stops which you can click and bring up various routes. Click the route and click "지도" in the upper right and it'll show you the actual map of the route on the regular map so you can see where the bus actually goes.

online at either site you can view the bus routes in a similar fashion. Zoom in and click the stops themselves and pick your route.
