I would like information about cat hotels in Seoul. Are there a lot of them? How much does it usually cost? |

I would be surprised if you can find any...perhaps there are one or two places that take dogs that will also take cats, but Koreans generally are not cat people. Actually, most Koreans fear cats, because of the devil eyes. |

Last summer I boarded mine at my local vets office. It was about 100,00 for the entire week. She probably hated being in a cage for that long, but it couldn't be helped.
Also, she's other cat friendly, we live in Bundang, and could be convinced to cat sit for short periods of time if anyone lives nearby. We are not going on a winter vacation.
My biggest condition would be that you bring the kitty for a visit first. My darling girl has been spoiled having me to herself for the last six months, so I'd want to make sure that she would still welcome the company. PM me if you are interested. |

Most vets can do it but check the actual conditions before committing. When I first arrived, my recruiter (jack-wad) said a vet "clinic" nearby could house the cats while we looked for housing. That vet "clinic" was pretty much a walk-in closet-sized dog clinic and the cat would be kept in the lobby in the cat carrier I provided.
No thank you!
The Itaewon Animal Hospital has some great facilities.(Newly remodeled) I think 15,000 per day for a regular little room/cage and then 20,000 per day for an individual bigger room with a kitty condo and such.
Good luck! |
