Well, I was under the impression that Qingdao gets a lot of tourists all the time, the way my aunt (from Beijing..) described it to me!

I am fascinated and want to visit there one of these days.

I saw someone mention on another thread that 'Qingdao is not the place to be in winter'

ahem.

nevertheless, myself and some buddies have booked flights there for a few days over christmas.

anybody have recommendations for accommodation, nightlife?

also, what crazy chinese food should we try? and where can we get it?
