I started at 2.3 a month. (Which is high, but I'm a certified teacher w/ a Master's degree.) The second year, the school's manual says a rasie of "at least" 200,000 a month. It also says, "A third year raise is to be negotiated with management, and renewing teachers in excellent standing can expect a substantial increase in salary."

I'd say at least 200,000 a month, or maybe 150,000 at the lowest is cool if you've beena good teacher.

I would like to stay here another year. But here is another twist in the plot. The place is LOSING STUDENTS. I mean the kids are dropping off like flies. They can barely make payroll. And they want me to stay. I don't know if I will even make it to the end of my already broken and nullified contract! So that is why I am looking somewhere else, just in case.
