Hi all,
I'm going to Hong Kong and would like to find a good place to stay in. I really want it to be cheap, and would prefer a guesthouse or hostel-like atmosphere. I still really do like the hostel experience (meeting other people to travel with is always good) rather than just staying in a hotel all by my lonesome.
Any recommendations?
Hostels?
Guesthouses?
... Maybe a hotel, but gotta be cheap... |

| Chungking Mansions. Cheap and good location. Not a hostel, but it's an experience. |

| YMCA Kowloon (The Salisbury) has a dorm room. It's about 25 US dollars a night, if I remember correctly. |

| Seconded fo Chungking. The food there rocks. fresh samosas every morning for like 50 cents each. |

horrible horrible place to stay at....but yes, the food there is pretty good. |

I agree. Don't stay at Chung King. Here is where I stayed last October.
