I know why they would say something like that. Can you decipher the hidden message?

Promoting gold and silver on a random CE message board. Someone's got a lot of time on his hands. |

Yeah, that's what happens when you're rich. Besides, I'm helping people to protect their wealth.

That they are rational investors who have better sense than to try and extrapolate current market and economic conditions far into the future? That good long term investments are not so highly speculative? That they are admitting that they don't have a crystal ball that would allow them the degree of certainty about the future that some of the know it alls who post here have? |

That is certainly the perception that they are trying create, and which most people will buy into. But remember, that Goldman Sachs is one of the biggest banking crime syndicates in the world. In conjunction with the Federal government, Goldman Sachs and their buddies from JP Morgan, HSBC, Citibank all have played a hand in the manipulation of the metals markets. I wouldn't completely trust anything Goldman Sachs says. The banking elite own the media, please don't forget this very important fact.
And it seems more apparent than ever that CNBC/Wall St. Journal/et al have the average American convinced that gold is in a bubble.
I agree with Goldman Sachs that the price of gold will go up in 2012 (goldman sachs owns gold btw). And it may certainly go down beyond that. But as long as governments around the world are printing money as economic problems persist, gold and silver will only go up. With the coming collapse of the US bond market, where do you think that money will go? Gold and silver. Gold will eventually form a bubble and burst, but we're still along way from that. Take everything see and hear from the banker owned media with skepticism. Don't just believe everything because that is what you are told. |

Skepticism is a very healthy thing. While I am skeptical of Goldman's ability to foresee the future, I am even more skeptical of the certainty with which you presume to make pronouncements about market conditions 5 years or more in the future. Frankly, Goldman simply makes more sense than you. |

I honestly don't care what Goldman believes. I care why they believe what they believe. Precious metals going up in 2011? Well obviously... |

My mom is the ultimate contrarian indicator. She likes every investment just as it tops.
Last week she suggested I buy gold. So, for me that's about it. We'll see if her winning streak continues. |

What is your definition of a bubble? If you really think gold is in a bubble then enlighten me with your logic.

Agreed that skepticism is healthy. Yes, I am very confident that gold and silver will continue to go up. I could list all my arguments as to why I think this is the case.
Btw...the US dollar has lost 97% of its value since the creation of the Federal Reserve and gold has moved up against ALL currencies over the last 10 years.
What is your argument for holding fiat currencies over gold?
Enlighten me.
Waiting. |

Yeah, I have nothing to do right now, so I want to do something easy...teaching esl in korea is as easy as it gets.
Anyone with a pulse can teach esl, so if I have money why would I stress
myself out with a stressful job? ESL is the way to go...so easy!!!!!!
I always wanted to go to Korea since I was 24, but I couldn't justify throwing my future away to go to Korea to teach ESL. Teaching esl is a blackhole...a career killer.
So as wise as I am, I decided to stay in Canada, develop my career and most importantly make money. It was never my intention to go to Korea with no money and bend over for my hagwon master because I needed the money.
I'm not a slave...I'm free! |
