|
|
Hello, I've been living in Daegu for a few months now but have not yet found clothing stores that I can count on for a nice selection and reasonable prices. Then again, I haven't quite wondered around enough since I don't live that close to downtown. Anyway, I'm wondering if you guys can suggest some good clothes stores that you like in Korea. If you know Daegu-specific ones, that's even better. Even more specifically, I'm looking for a nice Pea coat and shoes.
p.s. I'm a man. |

Uniqlo.
Check out the sales racks at H&M and Zara.
At the Lotte Department store some reasonably priced clothes from Korean (?) brands called Clride, Mind Bridge and Dickies.
If the local Gap outlet doesn't have what you want, you can order online and have it delivered to Korea as well. |

I second Uniqlo.
Also, have you checked out Seomun Market? Now that it's winter there are tons of pea coats available for haggle. I was there yesterday. |

About how much are they going for?

I second Zara sale racks, if it's not on sale though -- get those deep pockets ready. |

Uniqlo or whatever its called is a great store. But, there is an alleyway just across from Uniqulo there are several little shops that have nice looking stuff hidden amongst the tacky for CHEAP. Their sizes are pretty limited, but I found some great long sleeve shirts there for 3000 won each. They've lasted for a year so far, which is fantastic. |

Uniqlo is only good if you don't have long arms or legs. All their stuff tends to ride up your arms if you're a guy. |

I find the Uniqlo stuff tends to shrink or stretch in all the wrong places. |

At Seomun pea coats were at an asking price of 100,000-120,000. I talked a guy down to 60,000 but ended up not really wanting the coat. |
