Meat buffets are terrible - the quality of meat is usually pretty low, and you have to go and get everything yourself.

You do realize, don't you, that that is how buffets are run all over the world?

The difference being, at a regular buffet there is a vast selection of things to go and get yourself. At a meat buffet, there is the same banchan that normally gets brought to you, but you have to go and get it. Same goes for rice.

My point is that I'd rather pay a bit more for a better cut of meat, and to have someone bring me my food.

I like buffets, and I like Korean BBQ, but I don't like the combination of the two.

Bring your food...so you can then cook it for yourself at your table. I think standing up and loading a plate is the easier part of the arrangement, really.

I've found at the buffets (I've only been to a couple) that at least one of the cuts will be pretty good. It's a decent way to get good and drunk with your friends while keeping the meal cost low.

This thread has reminded me of my feelings for a friend I lost some time ago. I will always remember the good times, friend. RIP Carney Station.

Please carry on...

You didn't specify which kind of meat you want, so Dokdo Chamchi has all you can eat sashimi for 21,000won (or that was the deal at the one in Daechi-dong anyway). When I went in, I didn't realise it was unlimited. They just kept adding and adding fish. It was awesome!

I miss Carne Station! More for the all-you-can-drink spirits though Wink

Fish is not meat.

Also, Carne Station was horrible.

Have you no respect for a legend? The nerve... THE NERVE! I'm in a frenzy of anger and despair at such a disgraceful statement.

Also look for:
무한
this means "infinite" I've seen it on some signs for unlimited meat places.

As for the getting it yourself, why not go to a brazilian steak restaurant? they'll actually come around and bring you the meat. If you're going to pack yourself full of meat and be that lazy, seems like the perfect place for you.

왜 그래? 고기부페 정말 좋아해요. 진짜 맛있어요! 너는 그냥 불평 것을 좋아해요.

메롱.

Oh but where is 독도참치? I'm assuming it is NOT in Dokdo...

Can we make an unlimited list?! (i.e. drinks, beef, sushi, etc)

LA Kbbq>Korea's Bbq

독도참치 is a chain sashimi place that is quite common. Look for the big picture of Dokdo on the sign board at the top of the front. I went to one in Seogwipo on Jejudo, but that didn't seem to be all-you-can-eat. The one in Daechi-dong certainly is though.

To add to the list, the Ibis and the Coex Intercontinental hotels in Samseong-dong both have wine buffets (every?) night. I'm not sure what the actual price is now, maybe around 35,000won, and it includes unlimited wine and a buffet with a selection of snack style foods that you can easily make into a dinner.
