Just wondering here... do I need any other permits and paperwork I need to deal with after I secure the F4 visa? I found this from Vancouver Consulate website, but I could use some help if anyone knows what's going on in this statement.

출입국관리법에 따라 재외동포 체류자격(F4)의 부여 또는 변경허가를 받은 자는 그 허가를 받은 때 거소신고를 하여야 합니다.

So is it like a permission letter from your employer? Do I need to visit Korean Immigration Office? It's hard to ask specific question when I have no clue what it is. Sad

All that statement means is that even if you obtain the F4 visa from an overseas consulate, you still have to register with the immigration office in Korea and obtain an alien registration card. No need for a letter from your employer. I believe you have 90 days to register once you get to Korea.
