Some cats pee next to your house and it stinks. Some cats scratch up furniture. Some pets are great. Some are a-holes. Whatever you prefer.

I prefer dogs. I have 2 rats right now, though, because I wasn't sure how long I'd be here, nor where I'll be living next. They are pretty cool boys, though.

Just thought I'd acknowledge this quote. It's a habit of mine.

Weak. I think you meant "Euhghuahuargh."

I was being kind to your distorted view of dogs.

they do NOT: crap everywhere, maul children, jump on people or make non-stop noise. They all have their personalities, just like people do, and they need training, just like people do. Maybe you hate dogs because you really hate yourself...ha.

Think you failed psychology 101.

Just tonight I went to visit a mate, he met us with his big dog. Walking back from the pizza joint it decided it didn't like a little girl wearing a hood so it tried to attack the girl; it scared the shite out of her. Later I tried to eat my pizza in peace, but there's the damn dog just staring at me the whole time, it even drooled on me.

Dogs are shocking pets, ONLY for the owners, many who are lonely with no friends, are you one of those people? ha!

Guys, you're both home on Friday night, and what's worse is you're on Dave's on Friday night.

And so am I.
Confused

On the other hand, dogs do have their own personalities and need to be trained but sometimes their owners haven't got a clue how to train them and everyone suffers for it.

So yeah, you can blame the owner but it means that dogs aren't always going to be good pets.

Yeah but why come to Dave's when you could be doing something more productive, like looking at porn or downloading music illegally or playing Starcraft for six hours?

Personally, I'm switching between Daves, Duran Duran, Science documentary (wonders of the universe or something cheesy like that), downloading stuff illegally and inhaling the steam coming out of my humidifier. It doesnt *feel* healthy but I can't see how it could be UNhealthy...

I love Korean pizza. My favourite kind is the one with sweet potato and corn. If there was Korean pizza here in Canada, I'd definitely get a slice.

One side of the story one which I am sure you used certain adjectives to make your point.

Dogs like good food too.

You really miss out on the benefits that a dog provides and forget that some people are ignored by other humans or are treated worse than how a dog is treated by other humans.

Are you one of those people who ignore others and treat them like crap just because they are not like you?

Hey give us a break, I went out, came home at midnight, decided to heat my ice-block of a villa up and killed some time on the ultimate time killer, Dave's.

Dogs do have their own personalities but even still, you'll see experts say to NEVER leave a dog with a small child which suggests their personalities are Jekyl or Hyde, they are all potential killers (apart from a lapdog which will just send its neighbours to the funny farm).

Please, learn to summarize. I don't do the line-by-line commentary.

You're just proving my point that dogs are only for the owners. Sure some people can benefit, especially old people who can use dogs as a companion; that's nice. You have to admit though when little treasure is left alone in it's apartment, it has the potential to start the noisebox routine, yapyapyapyapyap.......that's the side I'm more concerned with. Call me selfish? Well, me and dogs go way back, from the stray dog that bit me as a child, to next door's howling Alaskan Malamute which tormented during my final high school exams, to various lapdogs keeping me awake with their incessant yapping; dogs only belong in one place, served in a hot pot served with banchan and soju and I'll gladly drink to that.

Why do you think people get dogs? So their friends can enjoy them?

Quote:
yapyapyapyapyap.......

It is clear you donot understand who dogs are and what their duties are. Dogs bark, get over it and buy some ear plugs.

Quote:
from the stray dog that bit me as a child,

And here we come to the source of your hatred for dogs. So what? We all get bitten by dogs when we are children because children do stupid things to dogs. it is like being bucked off a horse, do you run away and hate horses demanding that all horse owners not have one? Or that horses are bad?

No, you get back on them and ride. Same with dogs. No, you don't ride it, but you do not let one dog bite rob you of the benefits a dog brings to your life.

Now that was uncalled for and very flaming. Learn some manners.

I was never bitten by a dog when I was a kid. Maybe you smelled like meat.
