I like to have a snooze later in the day so I often check into a sauna.
For reasons I wont go into, I wont go to Hamilton Hotel sauna.
Anyone know another one close by that is clean and has a sleeping room?

there's a large jimjilbang in itaewon i stayed at once. not sure the name though coming from the "main street" you have to walk up a lot of stairs to get to it/another small street. be careful because a gay guy made advancements on me when i stayed there, not so fun feeling.

I second Dragon Hill, but the one at the top of the stairs is called Itaewon Land. It's actually better if you're just going for a nap. I prefer it for sleeping, though Dragon Hill has better baths.

Itaewon Land is great, I go there all the time. It is located at the top of some stairs off the main drag of Itaewon, towards hooker hill. If you get out of Itaewon station and walk towards Rocky Mountain Tavern (exit 3, I think?) the stairs will be on your right.

I can't speak for the men's side obviously, but the women's is always clean and well-equipped. There are large common sleeping rooms as at most saunas, and on the top floor there is a women-ony sleeping area (I assume there'd be a similar one for men as well). It's just a room with a bunch of shelves for sleeping on, kind of like bunkbeds. It's considerably more private, as well as darker and quieter, than the main sleeping room.

There's also one in the basement of the Hammy Hotel. Beware, though. Don't go there if you don't wan...errr, well, just visit at 2am on a Saturday and see for yourself.

Dragon hill looked like a mass grave last time I went there. I wasn't too impressed with the baths on the men's side, but my girlfriend said her side was really nice. The other amenities were cool though. Arcade, PC room, dip and dots, etc.

Saunas are one of the few areas where foreign women seem to get a better deal. I've heard from several guys that the men's side of Dragon Hill is merely so-so (while the women's side is awesome). Hamilton Hotel is also fine for women, but if you're a dude you're not likely to get much sleep;)

I stand by my Itaewon Land recommendation - I have never heard anything bad about the men's side, and can personally vouch for the women's side being a-OK.
