Who needs to be around people like that?
Your ex would think twice if you leave and never come back. EB

I know not all Korean girls are like that nor are all Koreans. It does happen though, one really has to be careful when dating within another culture/language as your ignorance of their language sets you up to get screwed.

If I had known as much Korean then as I do now it wouldn't have happened. I would have understood one of her phone calls and realized she was talking to her husband and figured it out. I think she dated me because when we started dating, I had only been in Korea for a few weeks and she was able to shape my understanding of how things worked there in her favour. That and her friends used to go along with it and back her up. As I started to suspect things, she became more clever and more secretive to cover it up. She came clean with everything when it got to the point where leading a double life was too stressful.

I'll be back in Korea this month and I think I'm ready to start dating again (only one way to find out). If anything, this experience has taught me how to tell good girls apart from bad girls and it has taught me to take warning signs, especially early ones, very seriously.
