My Ps3 just went out. Yellow light of death. Wondering what my best options here are. Local places to get it fixed or ship it to Sony or trade it in for another one (since it can be fixed and resold). |

Same thing happened to me last month. I called Sony here in SK and they fixed it for me within in a week. However I did buy it here and so it was under warranty thereby free of charge.
Just google "Sony tech support in South Korea" and you should find the contact no problem. |

The problem is the hours are wacky because of the time difference. I am not under warranty, but I wouldn't mind paying the 150 if the problem can be fixed by a reputable person. |

Sometimes companies license vendors to fix their products. I already know what Sony charges to fix the problem and there have been plenty of reports of the issue happening again even though Sony has repaired it. |
