Does anyone have information on an express bus from Jamsil to Sungkyunkwan university (Suwon).
I heard bus 1116 goes from Jamsil to Suwon, but not sure where it goes in Suwon.
If anyone has any info on travelling from Jamsil to Suwon by express bus, please let me know.
And does it really take 70~80 minutes? |

There are a couple that go to Yongtong (1112) from Jamsil station (3000 to/from Gangnam) and a couple that go to Suwon station (1116?).
Sungkyunkwan is only 2 stops up from Suwon station on the subway or 5000 won by cab.

Closer to 50 than 30 and could easily go to 70 in high traffic times or bad weather.

Thanks for your quick replies and helpful info.
I live at Jamsil and was offered a position at Sungkyunkwan university, (Suwon) I don't want to leave my apartment (of 7 years) in Jamsil, so am really unsure whether the travelling time is worth taking the job.
I know many people do travel an hour to and from work though.
But then there is also the cost 1,800 for the bus (72,000won per month)
and the 5,000won from Suwon station to the university (200,000won per month)
not sure if the travelling cost is worth it either.
It would be my salary minus 272,000won per month |

Metro line 2 to Sadang, then SKKU Suwon shuttle http://www.skku.edu/etc/bus_time.pdf or red bus 7790 or 7800 straight to the rear gate of SKKU.
Half an hour for a train ride, then another full hour for the bus.
Way better than crossing downtown Suwon during RH. |
