|
|
My Korean co-worker asked me for the English proverb that fits this situation:
If an innocent person steals just once, they will become a thief and steal all the time.
I'm sure there's one for this situation, but I can't think of it. Does anyone have any ideas? |

May not be the one you're looking for, but the one I know is "Once a thief, always a thief." |

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. I couldn't remember the ending to "Once a thief" for some sad reason. |

I have a proverb question.
A Korean asked me to explain:
"The man has a finger in every pie."
Any suggestions? |

"A finger in every pie"-I think means that the person is involved in many different persuits....like, if there is something going on,(projects, clubs, organizations) that person probably has "their finger" in that "pie".
That's my interpretation anyway.
It could also mean the person is nosey, but I think it's what I said above. |
