Hi i'm traveling to the phillapines Dec. 26-Jan-02...i'm wondering what's my best option for picking up some cheap travel insurance for this trip (if I take a spill on a scooter or something....any advice would be greatly appreciated guys, thanks : ) |

If you're flying to the Philippines, you can buy travel insurance at the airport. |

Avoid buying it there. You used to be able to buy it from any of the traveller's insurance kiosks, but now you can only go to Samsung, way at the end somewhere, and their services and policies are sub-par.
World Nomads is the way to go. |

world nomads offers minimum 2 weeks guys...and it's 100 bucks ...i've heard from some people you can get 1 week coverage for under 50 bucks. Any other options?

It's even cheaper if you put your country of permanent residence as Korea - $38 including premium coverage and a donation to charity. |

...but i'm not a permanent residence here...my cheap hagwon doesn't even pay me into pension or give me health care...wouldn't that void my coverage if I actually did get in an accident and needed to make a claim mate? ...if not then sweet! |
