Here are my ideas on how to do it in Korea. What are yours?

I appreciate all your recent posts, and your blog(s), but don't you think you're going a bit overboard with these squidoo links? I understand that you're making money off them, but creating a new site for something that could easily be covered in a blog post is excessive. Just my two cents, but I can pretty confidently say that you're losing readers because of this constant linking here and on your blog.

What's the problem with Squidoo? I've never seen it before but it looks like a regular blog site. Is there another side to it?

My ideas for CPD:

1. Join the local EFL/TESOL SIG
2. Do some teacher training workshops voluntarily
3. Start a blog and reflect on what you have learnt and what you need to develop
4. Network and go to weekend workshops
5. Contact local book publishers and request that they put you on their marketing list for potential book reviews
6. Go and do a bona fide Trinity TEFL/CELTA course

My 2 cents or 원

1. Take 6 months and study the local language. Spend time speaking, learning new words, and doing listening lessons. Become better at the local language than your students are at English.

2. if you have some extra time and if the weather is ok then maybe, possibly, consider going to a seminar.
