I have had a remittance problem in that some money I have transfered just before I came home for a holiday has not arrived (16 days now). What do I need to take in to the bank back in Korea to show that it hasn't been received? Has anyone had similar remittance problems? How were they resolved? I've sent money using my account before and not had any problems. I'm with KEB.

Having looked a little further back it seems that the very first (miniscule) remittance I made with my first bank (Woori) doesn't appear to have been received either. How do I deal with that? Luckily neither is a lot of money....

I've been having problems with my UK net banking in Korea hence why I haven't been on top of things as I should have been.

I don't know, but this certainly does not boost a lot of confidence in their banking system. You sent money through KEB to your UK bank and it isn't there yet? That is downright frightening.

Obviously, you talked to your UK bank, and what did they say? I think you should try calling KEB from the UK, tell them about the situation, and ask what do you need to do to remedy it. Don't wait until your return, and then they ask for some piece of paper that you don't have.

Do it today.

Did you get a confirmation email from KEB? Perhaps it's your UK bank that's the problem.

It only takes two business days to hit my home account using KEB netbanking, I've been very happy with it.

I've had the email saying it had been sent. The money was definitely not in my Korean account when I left Korea 4 days ago....
